About Midvale Elementary

 

Midvale is part of the Indian Valley Local School District in Tuscarawas County. The Indian Valley District is comprised of one high school (in Gnadenhutten), one middle school (in Tuscarawas), and two elementary schools (one in Midvale and the other in Port Washington). The district enrollment is approximately 1800 students.

Midvale Elementary School is a K-5 building of approximately 430 students.  The school building was built in 2007 and has all the bells and whistles (air conditioning, modern technology, and modern security) to make students feel safe and comfortable so they are ready to learn. 
 
At Midvale the staff strives to be difference makers in students' lives. The staff works hard to make a difference in students' academics, social skills, and emotional well being.  At Midvale highly qualified teachers work to provide a personalized standard-based education in the following  areas:  Reading, Writing, Mathematics, Social Studies, and Science. In addition students will have the following related arts: (S.T.E.A.M. Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Mathematics), gym, music, library, and computer.
